Due to the rather overwhelming attention my little shop has gotten (yay!) I am pretty swamped with convos (though I LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing from you!!)

About my Sweaters:

I started making recycled patchwork hoodies 20 years ago, while I was a wee gypsy girl, following the Grateful Dead. Since then my style has evolved and grown into this sweatery maddness. If you look at my sold listings you can see how they continue to morph and grow with each passing month. My elf coat design even seems to have inspired a wee bit of a trend here on etsy. Ooh la la.

I take a lot of pride in the quality of my sweaters. I am endlessly scouring thrift stores for the loveliest knits. My sweaters are cozy, flattering, and will never unravel. I use a top-of-the-line serger to make tight seams which I then hand finish. These confections are built to keep you bright and warm through years of rambling.

Frantic Romantic mandala vest

Description

Boobiehugger vest. Which we all know should be called Yejjbi-hugger vest because breasts are meant to be praised not booed out.

So a Yejjbi~hugger~vest it is!

And what better way to praise them than to present them in this unique vest.

It has a Frantic romantic, almost historic feel to it with wide rosty coloured ties in the front and a little heart in the back in the middle of this beautiful mandala. And fringes of recycled suede to top it off.

Everything to accentuate your inner autumn fairy*^
Can be worn on its own or as on the pictures, over a top.

This Vest will fit a size xs- up to a small Medium sized woman.
Crochet is pretty flexible and with the smart ties in front you can adjust it to fit you perfectly.

* I've used myself as a model and to give you a better idea on how it would fit you
here are my measurements:

84 cm/ 33.1" around the yejjbis and back.
71 cm/ 28 " under the yejjbis and back.

And the measurement on the vest itself is
49 cm/ 19.3" around the arm
64 cm/ 25.2" flat when not stretched out.

Funky Fluorescent Mandala Vest

Description

I made this crochet vest with inspiration from the many nights I spent on dancefloors, dancing my mind away. Putting myself into trance.

ΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨΨ

It's a Fluorescent vest, a one of a kind artpiece with cerise and orange yarn that is framed with a rosty brown.
In the back is this magnificent strong lightgreen mandala.

You tie the vest with two ties that you wrap around yourself to the back. Or as you see fit.
The ties are made out of recycled suede from an old jacket.

This vest will fit a size S up to a big Medium.

The measurements on me, the model is:
84cm / 33.1" around the chest and
71cm / 28" under the chest.
~Just to give you a hint on how it would fit on you.


You wash it in cold water after you have removed the suede ties. It is ready to ship.

Sensual purple and brown crochet mandala top

Description

All the materials is recycled. So it's totally eco-friendly!

The ties are made from an old blouse which featured Krishna and Radha. The mantra Om namah shivay and the om~sign. Some parts you can still see.

The cups are constructed to work as a balconette bra which gives this beautiful lift and makes every chest look good even without a bra. The halterneck ties also helps with that.

The back is open to make you feel the cooling breeze, perfect for long night dancing.
Or to show off your kickass tattoos!

Looks great with a top under too of course!

To add som extra glamour to it I sprinkled it with Amethysts

Will fit best on a S or M.

Nutty knotted Peacock belt-skirt

Description

This stunning creation is made with inspiration from the beauty of the male peacock.

I made it using makramé and braiding techniques;
and a whole lot of nutty knots. All of it is made by hand, even the stitching.

You can twist and turn it any way you like making it look totally different on different occasions.
