Four dreadlock beads, flower power, bright funky colors, small to medium size
This set of four bright colored dreadlock beads were made by me from polymer clay using the millefiori technique to create the funky flower power patterns. The patterns are not painted on, they are part of the clay, made from the clay itself, this means that they will not wash or wear off or fade over time. Millefiori is an ancient method of creating patterns in decorative glasswork, but it lends itself beautifully to polymer clay, which has the advantage of needing no specialist high temperature equipment.
These beads are between two thirds and three quarters of an inch long and the holes are a quarter to a third of an inch. They are for thinnish to medium dreds. These beads are tough and durable and can be left in for long periods of time. They can be left in for washing.
